The laboratory freeze dryer is a scaled-down version of traditional freeze-drying equipment, which removes water from the sample through a process of freezing and vacuum drying to maintain the structure and activity of the sample. It is mainly used in the laboratory research and development of lyophilized production companies, and is also widely used in various industries such as medical treatment, Chinese medicinal materials, pharmaceuticals, injections, and biopharmaceuticals. It has the advantages of precision equipment, small footprint, simple operation, high configuration, stable operation, no need to install and debug, power can be used, etc.
The laboratory freeze-drying machines produced by our company have been sold to food enterprises, universities, etc., to help enterprises and universities research and development and production.
Laboratory freeze-dryers can greatly extend the shelf life of biological samples by removing moisture from them. Drying in a low-temperature vacuum environment can avoid high-temperature induced protein denaturation and loss of activity, ensuring that biological samples maintain their biological activity and structural integrity during storage.
Problem description: Excessive frosting on the condenser surface affects the drying efficiency.
Solution: ① Check the vacuum degree, low vacuum may lead to reduced water vapor condensation efficiency, adjust the vacuum pump to achieve the ideal vacuum degree. ② Clean the condenser, regularly clean the frost layer and dust accumulation on the condenser, and maintain good heat exchange efficiency. (3) Adjust the cooling temperature, too high or too low cooling temperature is not conducive to drying, appropriate adjustment to maintain the condensation effect.
Problem description: Sample drying time is long, or it is not easy to redissolve after drying.
Solution strategies: ① Optimize the pre-freezing to ensure that the sample is fully pre-frozen below -40°C to avoid the formation of large ice crystals to damage the cell structure. ② Adjust the sublimation rate: appropriately increase the vacuum degree or reduce the sample thickness to speed up the sublimation rate of water. ③ Sample pretreatment: Use appropriate protective agents to improve sample resolubility.
Problem description: Vacuum pump vacuum time becomes longer, it is difficult to reach the predetermined vacuum degree.
Solution strategy: ① Clean the filter and oil mist separator, clogged filter or oil mist separator will affect the pumping efficiency of the pump, regular cleaning or replacement. ② Replace the vacuum pump oil, the oil quality or the oil level is too low will affect the performance of the pump, according to the manufacturer's recommendations regularly replace and supplement the vacuum pump oil. ③ Check seals: Aging or damaged seals will lead to air leakage, check and replace.
